| Posting a WebRez is easy. We have put together
a Hyper-Text Editor (like the one most blogging software are using) as the
posting platform. You can either: |
| Choose this if you want to use a resume
previously created in a word processing (eg. Microsoft Word) or web publishing
program (eg. Dreamweaver, Frontpage). Just select the entire resume, then cut
and paste!
|
|

|
Open up your file, choose the selected text
and/or graphics. To select the entire document, click on 'Edit' and press
'Select All'. Or you can just press 'Ctrl A' by holding on to the 'Ctrl' key
and pressing 'A'. |
|

|
Copy this to your clipboard by
pressing ‘Ctrl C’ or right click on the selected components and click ‘Copy’. |
|

|
Paste this onto the WebRez template by right
clicking on the empty form and selecting 'Paste', or by pressing 'Ctrl V'.
Voila, you have your very own web resume! |
| *This function is especially useful as it
allows you to paste live links which will then show up on your WebRez.
For example, if you are a website designer you can paste an image that links to
a website you created previously. When a prospective employer clicks on the
image, the browser will automatically be directed to that website! The employer
can then very easily view your portfolio. In this way a WebRez can also
increase the online visibility of your work. |

|
Put together text and graphics to make your
own WebRez. To place text and graphics on the template, you can either upload
files or cut and paste as above. |
|

|
You can then use the functions provided to
customize your WebRez. For example, you may bold or underline text, or align a
picture to appear in the centre of the screen. |
| Remember to click 'Save' when you are done.
Once you have done this, the WebRez you have just created will be published on
the Internet. |
