Jobsnet has incorporated several features to
protect the confidentiality of your resume and WebRez. These special features
are beneficial whether you are an executive or professional hoping to make a
career switch or simply someone who wishes to keep your identity private. |
 |
Publish or Hide Resume |
| |
Publishing your resume allows employers to
find you when they do a resume search through all the resumes in the Jobsnet
database. Hiding your resume ensures that your resume is shown only to
registered employers whose jobs you have applied for. If you hide your resume,
your profile will no longer be searchable. To enable this function, check on
the 'Hide Resume' box at the bottom of your 'Edit Resume' page. To remove this
option, check on the 'Publish Resume' box instead. |
| |
|
 |
Hide selected fields |
| |
With this you can hide specific fields such as
your address, telephone number and current or last employer. while still
keeping your resume searchable from the database. You can even hide your name,
but it is compulsory to fill in an alias This is to avoid annoying prospective
employers and to allow them to identify you easily in some way.
If you are an executive or professional who does not wish
to be identified, you may also avoid revealing the name of your present
organization by using terms like 'large MNC', 'established European bank' and
so on. To hide fields, check on the 'Hide Field' boxes next to the respective
fields of information on your 'Edit Resume' page. To unhide fields, you simply
need to uncheck the same boxes.

Public View or Password Protection |
| |
With the Public View option anybody who comes
to your WebRez webpage - whether friend, employer or random Internet surfer -
can view your resume. If you choose this, remember to hide important personal
details.
If you opt for Password Protection instead, a
password-protected URL ensures that only chosen parties can view your resume
after you provide them with your personal password. How to enable Password
Protection?
